Originally I wanted to tell you about my newest obsession: podcasts. But to explain how I got into podcasts (after so many years of trying), I first have to tell you about my new headphones. They are cordless, noise-cancelling, and the single reason why podcasts finally started to make sense to me. So today I’ll write about the shiny new gear, and next time I’ll show you my new favourite listens for the commute.
It never rains, it pours: more this week than usual. I’m writing this from bed, weak and with a severe cough, listening to water drumming on the roof and gushing down the rain pipes. A good day to stay in bed and drink tea.

I thought I’d start a weekly regular in the background (these posts won’t show up on the homepage with the rest) to check in on my progress with exercise this year. Initially the main goal is to run three times a week, emphasis on regularity, really just whatever distance or length of time feels good.
